"A" Company of the 82nd Aviation Battalion (82nd Airborne Division) deployed to Vietnam in April 1965 in support of the 173rd Airborne Brigade. In September 1966, A Company was decommissioned and recommissioned as the 335th Aviation Company (months later redesignated the 335th Assault Helicopter Company). The 335th AHC was returned stateside and decommissioned in November 1971.
This is a collection of eight skins representing the 335th AHC in Vietnam (1966-70) as well as A Co., 82nd AvBn in 1965-66.

Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron 267 (HMLA-267) is a United States Marine Corps helicopter squadron consisting of AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters and UH-1Y Huey utility helicopters. The squadron is based at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California falls under the command of Marine Aircraft Group 39 (MAG-39) and the 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (3rd MAW).

In 1965 the 2nd FLight Platoon, "the Choppers", also received UH-1D models. The 118th's white Thunderbird logo appeared on the nose and rear corner of the cargo doors. Red and White stripes were applied on the roof just behind the roof or "eyebrow" windows. At this time I do not know the serial number of Blue 8. Later in the war the 118th used a large white and red diamond on the tail boom as a unit tactical symbol, but these diamonds do not appear on photos from 1965-66. The 2nd platoon Choppers logo was originally applied to the pilot's doors. The crews were ordered to remove them however, and the logos were then applied to the door frame behind the pilot's doors. Photos show that "Blue 8" had a nickname painted in small, white on the pilots' doors, but at this time I don't know the name.

The Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) is a deployable, quick reaction air-ground task force of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) that includes both a battalion sized ground and support force as well as a group sized composite air component. The air assets are pulled from various stateside Marine squadrons and take on the squadron name and tail code of the medium lift squadron (formerly the CH-46 helicopter squadron, now the V-22 tiltrotor squadron), and the medium lift squadron is designated as "Reinforced" (e.g. "VMM-263 (Rein)"). Among the helicopter assets in the MEU are the UH-1N Huey (now the UH-1Y Venom) and the AH-1W Super Cobra or AH-1Z Viper, themselves taken from composite Marine Light Attack Helicopter (HMLA) squadrons.

1967-69 - 1st Platoon UH-1H 116th AHC aircraft were some of the most colorful ships in Vietnam in 1967-70. There was a large, stylized hornet in platoon colors on the nose. The "Yellow Jacket" distinctive color was yellow. The skid tips were painted yellow, and there was a single yellow stripe on the roof. The leading edge of the tail was painted yellow, and the outer edges of the rear tailplanes were also yellow. The 116th also identified their platoons with painted tail boom rear edges. 116th slicks carried the circle markings on the tail boom of the 269th Combat Aviation Battalion. Three-digit tail numbers were painted in yellow.

Fictional Huey's ( AB 214SP in real life ) of the RNLAF 303 Search and Rescue Squadron.
The RNLAF AB-412SP is in service since the beginning of 1994, they replaced the Alouette III’s.
Because of the yellow color, the relative of the Huey is tender nicknamed “Tweety”!
At the end of 2014 the AB 214SP’s were taken out of service and relieved by the Royal Navy NH-90 helicopters.
The pilots have customized helmet textures as well as the squadron patches.

Royal Netherlands Navy # 220, 224, 226 and 227 ( PH-UEY )
Updated version of SkinDate - 03/31/2014 and added skins # 220, 224 and 226 to the pack.
The Royal Netherlands Navy (Koninklijke Marine) received 8 Augusta-Bell 204B helicopters between June 1962 – July 1963.
They were assigned to MLD (Marineluchtvaartdienst, Naval Air Service) 7 squadron and used in SAR/comm roles.
In March 1978 the AB204Bs were withdrawn from service and sold.
The pilots have customized helmet textures as well as the squadron patches.

This is a collection of UH-1 desert skins for the US Army circa 1986 and Fictional skins ca. 2004. While the 101st Airborne and 10th Mountain Divisions are the unit patches on the flightsuits, the skins do not specifically represent these units. Rather, this is a collection of skins with minor variations in order to create good scenarios using the desert terrain.
